How do you feel about

a president who can't operate a computer (and who's favorite movie is Viva Zapata)? Just curious.

Scotland and England unite over...

I read this morning the following from the London Times: "No presence at Euro 2008, defeat in the one-day cricket series to New Zealand and Lewis Hamilton struggling to get out of second gear in the Formula One championship. It's been a depressing summer for England. But fear not, Andy Murray is waving the flag for us at Wimbledon. Actually, he's waving it for Scotland, but let's not quibble over such a minor detail. He's British, and that's good enough."

The British are desperate. And I have to admit, I am behind them on this one. Any nation that follows tennis so faithfully as England deserves a champion (even if he is Scottish).

Today he faces Nadal. I am excited because NBC is broadcasting the match, because Josie and I don't have cable: just a radio shack antennae. So here is to Murray: may he beat Nadal on his home-turf.
